University of Limerick has decided to make available eight non-EU fee scholarships which will be allocated by the Graduate School in support of research postgraduate students.As a part of its commitment to promoting excellence in research.

The scholarships will be provided to reduce the fees payable by non-EU students to EU fee levels (see the University’s Schedule of Fees, available on (www.graduatestudies.ul.ie). In some instances, colleges and departments may provide further support, including EU fee waivers or scholarships.

The scholarships will be allocated on an annual basis and may be renewed for up to three years, subject to satisfactory academic progress being reported by supervisors to the Graduate School. It should also be noted that Non-EU fee scholarships do not cover continuance fees and students are liable for these fees.

 

Faculty of Science and Engineering Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarships 2009/10

There are a number of scholarships available to Non-Eu International students for the following programmes:

  • Grad Dip/MSc in Quality Management
  • MSc in Applied Physics
  • Grad Dip/MSc Advanced Materials
  • Grad Dip/MTech Computer Aided Engineering Product Design
  • Grad Dip Chemical Engineering
  • MEng Computer and Communications Systems
  • MEng VLSI Systems -full time programme only
  • Grad Dip/ MEng Computer Engineering
  • MEng Information and Network Security
  • Grad Dip in Computing
  • MSc/MA Interactive Media
  • MSc/MA Music Technology
  • MSc Software Engineering
  • MSc Global Computing & Localisation
  • 50% scholarships available for full 4 years of an undergraduate programme
