UCD Agriculture Study Abroad Programme

From Food Science to Forestry, Horticulture to Human Nutrition, Agribusiness to Animal Science, Engineering Technology and Environmental Science to Equine Science, Crop Production to Sportsturf Management - the Agriculture Study Abroad Programme at UCD provides exciting opportunities to advance your knowledge while studying at Ireland's leading university.

The Agri-Food sector is Ireland's most important indigenous industry and UCD is the only Irish University offering the Bachelor of Agricultural Science (BAgrSc) degree. Over 50% of our undergraduate students are from urban or non-farm backgrounds, reflecting the wide range of degree programme options available with Agri-Food, Nutrition and the Environment.

Facilities

The Agriculture and Food Science Centre provides excellent learning support facilities for our visiting students, including a purpose-built Food Science building with dedicated food laboratories and a sensory evaluation suite. Students have access to UCD's 250 hectare research farm, Lyon's Estate, which is located at Newcastle, Co. Dublin and to glasshouse and field research facilities on the Belfield campus.
