The Farmleigh Fellowship is now open for applications

What is the Farmleigh Fellowship programme?

The Fellowship will place twenty five candidates on a twelve month Irish Asian work-study programme.

Your time will be split between generating a live Asian business development plan for your sponsoring Farmleigh Company and studying for a Master’s in Asian Business which is awarded by UCC and delivered in partnership with Nanyang Business School at NTU Singapore (whose MBA programme is ranked No. 3 in Asia-Pacific.)

You will spend three months in Ireland at UCC and nine months in Asia with four months at NTU in Singapore and five months at selected Farmleigh Companies across the region.

This innovative and exciting initiative will be supervised by industry and academia and will receive guidance and support from the local Irish Diaspora.

 

When can I apply?

Apply between  the 23rd of September and the 15th of October.

Successful applicants will meet the following criteria;

 

Academic Background


Applicants should hold an honours degree and have attained at least a 2.2 award or an equivalent academic or professional qualification in one of the following areas: Arts, Humanities, Social Science, History, Business, Science, or Engineering.

Skills/Knowledge

Strong oral and written communication skills and superior presentation skills.
Excellent report writing skills.
 

Language Requirements

Proficiency in an Asian language is not a general requirement but may be advantageous with some sponsoring companies.
