"I came to Athlone Institute of Technology as an Erasmus student from Bahcesehir University in Istanbul, Turkey in 2005. After completing my Erasmus year on Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, I decided to continue my education in software engineering to honours degree level at AIT. I completed the Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering in 2008. We had very experienced lecturers and I found the course very beneficial. It helped me to secure my first job as a software engineer in LM Ericsson Corporation, Athlone after my final year exams. Now I realise that AIT software engineering graduates are very successful in the company where I work, as our programme of study in Athlone trained us according to the latest developments in software engineering. I know that this is what companies are looking for in their new employees. I enjoyed my life in Athlone and made lots of unforgettable friendships as well. I hope that many people have a chance to study here like me."
